Jessica Alba

Jessica Marie Alba is an American actress and businesswoman. Her first TV and movie appearances at the age of 13 old, in Camp Nowhere (94), then rose to stardom at age 19 with the lead role in the show Dark Angel (2000 - 2002) in which she was nominated for an Golden Globe nominee. Honey (2003) was Honey's breakthrough film. She soon established herself as an Hollywood actress, and has appeared in a variety of box office hits throughout her career which include Fantastic Four (2005), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), Good Luck Chuck (2007), The Eye (2008), Valentine's Day (2010), Little Fockers (2010), as well as Mechanic: Resurrection (2016). 9] She is a regular collaborator of Robert Rodriguez. She has starred in Sin City (2005) and Machete (2010). Alba starred in Spectrum's action-crime drama series L.A. Finest from 2019 until 2020. Jessica Marie Alba was conceived in Pomona to Catherine Louisa (nee Jensen) and Mark David Alba. Her maternal grandparents, both Mexican immigrants are of Danish, Welsh German, English, and French heritage. Joshua is her older brother. Her father was an Air Force pilot and took the family to Biloxi (Mississippi) and Del Rio (Texas), after which returning to Claremont in California at nine years of age. Alba described her family as "very conservative" - a traditional Catholic, Latin American, Catholic family. Alba also describes herself as a liberal. When she was five, she claimed she was a feminist.
